Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Palmystique, the palm reading app and website at palmystique.com (the "Service"). Palmystique is operated by Bostone Consulting, based in the United States ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Entertainment and self-reflection only
Palmystique is provided solely for entertainment, recreation, and self-reflection. Palm readings, palmistry interpretations, Chiromancer replies, and the articles in our guide are not predictions, and they are not a basis for important decisions.
2. No advice
Palmystique and its Chiromancers do not give advice. Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, relationship, or other professional advice. Do not make important decisions — about your health, your money, the law, your relationships, or anything else that matters — based on a reading or a Chiromancer reply.
Nothing in the Service is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Always seek that advice for medical, legal, financial, psychological, relationship, or other professional matters, and never delay seeking it because of something you read in Palmystique. Palmistry cannot diagnose illness or predict lifespan, health, or events.
3. No guarantees
Palmistry is not a scientifically validated practice. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness or suitability of any reading or other content. Readings depend on the lines you draw, and two drawings of the same hand may produce different readings.
4. AI-generated content
Readings and Chiromancer replies are generated using artificial intelligence. AI can produce unexpected, inconsistent or inaccurate results. Do not treat AI-generated content as factual or authoritative. If you see content that is offensive or harmful, please tell us at help@palmystique.com.
5. Personal responsibility
Any decisions or actions you take based on a reading or a Chiromancer reply are your sole responsibility. Do not make important decisions based on the Service.
6. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Palmystique. If you are between 13 and 17, or under the age of majority where you live, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian, who must also agree to these Terms. Purchases by minors must be made with a parent's or guardian's permission.
7. Accounts
You can use Palmystique as a guest. Creating an account requires a valid email address that you control; sign-in is by a link sent to that address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in to your Palmystique account. Some actions, such as deleting your account, may require a recent sign-in. You can change your email address or delete your account from the Account page at any time.
8. Gold and purchases
- What Gold is. Gold is a virtual item used inside Palmystique to unlock premium features such as Master readings and Chiromancer replies in Master mode. Prices and what each feature costs are shown in the app before you buy or spend.
- An account is required to buy Gold.
- No cash value. Gold has no monetary value outside the Service, cannot be exchanged for money, and may not be sold, transferred or traded, except through features we provide such as gift or promotional codes.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. You authorise us and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide.
- Refunds. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. If a payment went through but your Gold did not arrive, write to help@palmystique.com and we will put it right.
- Promotional Gold and discount codes are subject to any conditions stated with them, may expire, and may be withdrawn if obtained through abuse or error.
- Changes. We may change prices or the features Gold unlocks. Changes will not reduce Gold already in your purse. If we ever close the Service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
9. Advertising
The free Novice tier and our guide pages are supported by advertising served by Google. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to control them.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- attempt to obtain Gold, readings or other features without paying for them, including by abusing codes, payments or refunds;
- interfere with, overload, probe or attack the Service or its security, or access it by automated means except as allowed by our robots.txt;
- try to make the Chiromancer produce harmful, hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its content, except for sharing your own readings for personal, non-commercial purposes.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
11. Our content and yours
The Service, including its design, artwork, text, guide articles and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You keep any rights you have in what you type into the Service. You give us permission to process it as needed to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your readings are yours to keep and share for personal use.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep Palmystique running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; if we make significant changes, we will tell you in the app and may ask you to accept the new version before continuing.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Palmystique, its operator, and its developers and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited as follows:

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
